[Sweating XE]

I've just tried to put the pistons back in my XE after one went a little southwest, but they do not fit. Now when I bought the new ones, I was told that they were the same as the ones that were fitted to a belmont 2.0 8v. I bought them off ebay. However, after spending lots of money on all of the parts I have come to put it all back together ( a job I have not done before) and have found that the pistons are about as much use as an invisible condom.

Can I get the pistons machined to fit?

could get the cylinders bored to fit maybe

8v pistons are wrong for an xe anyway. you need proper xe ones.
