Just painted up my spax coilovers and wanting to make sure i get the right springs in before i put it all back together.
Was just wondering what poundage springs i need on the. its a 1.2 8v sat in the front, do i need 250 or 300lb springs?
Also, on spax rsx coilovers 2 1/4 springs will fit fine wont they as i have heard a couple of people having problems with non spax springs on this size.
help greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Ben

Its down to personal preferance.

no more than 250lb ide say.. unless you like it hard.. ooh er.
ide say 180-250lb for any small block engine
275lb+ for big block.
But some prefer tougher u see..

I really like my 275lb front springs on my 1600 8v. The 1200 is probably similar weight. What springs do you have for them at the moment?

What ever cam with them standard but they are far too short as i want to use them on a rally car and i need longer springs so i can set it up properly to how i need it and want it too be, due to the fact that at the moment they are are right at the top or there adjustment and i dont like them being that high as i have no more movement left on them.
