Redtop conversion

soz im a noob:) lol

need some help understanding what is needed for 2.0 litre c20xe conversion in a Nova and a c20let

i just wondering what parts i would need (engine, gearbox, suspension, brakes) etc and their costs

could some one outline the costs for putting a C20let engine and a C20xe engine in

theres loads of info all over the forums about this, comes up every week. Use the search at the top to search info, look through projects theres loads of people doing this conversion. Price wise depends on how you do it. New bits or ebay specials!

All depends on how much you can do yourself tbh, and what you're using it for.

Have a look in the articles section in here, there's a guide to fitting XE's.

You will need complete engine (including gearbox, loom, water hoses, etc); driveshafts; mounts; fuel tank, lines & pump (GSi/GTE will do). A decent radiator, i.e. not a 1.0 one, will be handy.

Also the aforementioned stuff like suspension to handle the weight - can't remember off the top of my head what the poundage rates are supposed to be for an XE - and brakes. Decent tyres wouldn't go amiss either!
