Decent Scrapyard in NW

Hello all
I've moved to South Manchester and I'm now driving an Audi 80 over my rusty old Merit (but it still lives). I was wondering if any NW members could point me in the direction of a decent scrapyard. I know I might get a few 'WTF, this is a Nova forum' etc comments but the forums always been helpful to me over the last 3 years!

not many my far south, just northwich metals and MAS salvage. to be honest, mallys isnt too far to go, and i've heard of a load of scrappies near blackburn/north manchester way? some sort of scrappie industrial estate iirc.

Thank you for the replys, lots of good leads. I work in Blackley so that takes me up top everyday anyway. I was hoping one our work experience lads would be working at a scrappy so i could have a nose around! I'm after some steels for my Audi 80 so I can refurb the OEM Ronals...:thumb:
