i have bought a nova with mot and its insured now. it doesnt have any tax.
will i be able to tax it without the long book?
You need either the V5 (log book) the green new owner slip from it, or the tax reminder to tax it, otherwise you need to wait for the new V5 to come through or apply for a new one!

the new owner slip will do failing that i think a local dvla office might be able to print you a logbook. when my mate changed his reg they printed him a new one there and then.
You can tax it from that slip bud as thats the proof of V5 being sent off for ownershop change!
