View Full Version : 1600 engine and SR interior

First up is a 1600 8v engine with F13CR gearbox, I think originally from a Vauxhall Belmont. I only removed the engine from the car this evening after a trouble-free few months. Its a good fit engine, pulls very well, no nasty bottom end noises, no valve tapping, no smoke, just had new oil, filter and plugs. Fuel pump, carb, airbox, alternator etc included, but the engine comes with a standard manifold instead of the 4 branch pictured. Will fit Nova, and I think Astra/Corsa etc.

These engines are very hard to come by now. Basically a more powerful version of a Nova SR engine, so I will need £150, no offers.

I've also got a red/grey MK2 Nova SR/SRi interior in very good condition, apart from some driver's side bolster wear. Includes - front seats, rear seats, doorcards (uncut), and sunvisors.

Gonna need £110 for this interior, stuff like that is starting to get scarce.


Also got an SR steering wheel with horn push, will get pics tomorrow, £20.

what mileage has the engine got on it

Not sure what mileage is on the engine mate but its condition suggests that its very low mileage. It didn't even tap valves when I started it after sittin for a while!

please confirm the engine code, its on the block by the head gasket near no.4 exhaust port

I'll take a look tomorrow mowgli, its dark and very cold here in Noerthern Ireland lol, need to give the area a clean to make out the code.

Interior sold.

I will take £140 for the engine as it needs the fuel enrichment mechanism freeing up (anyone who knows about carbs will know its not a big job).
