ive got a 1 litre nova and i was wondering how easy it would be to put a 1.2 engine from a corsa b in it
dead simple, but the power increase will mean its hardly worth the effort.....
there is a thread about sticking a e16se in at the moment, the wiring rules will apply just the same, but you need the gbox & an injection type fuel tank
There is no power increase, both engines are 45brake
True, but the 1.2i has a very considerable advantage in torque (65ftlbs compared to the 1.0's 50ftlbs)
by the time youve factored in insurance increases its not going to be worthwhile imho
and wiring the sh1t spi up too...
True, but the 1.2i has a very considerable advantage in torque (65ftlbs compared to the 1.0's 50ftlbs)
The extra 15lb/ft is hardly going to destroy tarmac.......
But to answer the original question, its straightforward.

For the price you will pay for insurance on a modified car you may as well fit a red top
