Gearbox

Hi all,
Will the gearbox from a 1L fit onto a 1.2?
Also on my 1.2 engine i have these numbers on the side 1.2 90-265-009. Im unsure of the year of the engine and i need a starter motor for.
Can anyone help?

Yep.

1.2 starts are easy to get. Just search etc, there all the same

No, the threads are different in the F10 for a 1.0l.

The 1.0 box will NOT fit the 1.2. The 1.0 is ohv, and the 1.2 ohc. The block patterns are different.
Gary does the 1.0 cluster fit the 1.2 f10?

pants. just i have a 1.2 in the shed but no box for it!! might leave the 1L in it then. cheers for the help lads

yes you swap all the internals. The bolt pattern is the same but the holes and thread sizes are smaller. any other f10 or f13 will fit though.
