hi peeps my bird has a fiesta 1.25 zetec,its got a little problem,it keeps cutting out on the first start up,only when its been sitting all night its okay after about 15 minutes but just wanna see if you lot would know of what it is,cos she is driving me mad about it lol

sounds like the fuel isn't staying in the pipe.. find out if there is a non return valve in the line......

just spoke to me bird she sad it starts idles ok, but as soon as you touch the accelerator,or go to pull off it cuts out,but once its warm its ok,i just said just sit there till its warm,but with women theres no doing that lol

hi mate how old is the fiesta i would go for the temp sensor in the block they common on a cold start not usally 2 expensive either so good 4 ya pocket lol

its a 2000 w reg,its ok when left for a few hours but,its maily over night that does it,just by anychance you dont know where this is located

ooh not 100% sure 2 b fair think its gearbox end of the engine fits on the block ya lookin 4 prob white coloured plug it will have a gold 17mm nut round it. but if ya no any1 with a diagnosis scanner it should pic it up of that age car. saves throwin loads of unneeded parts to it. hope ya get it sorted soon :)

is there a way to flash codes out of the ecu (vaux paperclip styleeee!)?might be worth a scan round the net...
