carbs?

can i put as big a carb/carbs as i like on my nova? cos im thinkin twin 50's :D im thinking this would overfuel most cars tho? cheers jon

im assuming you have an 8v engine you want to tune?

twin 45s will go on a highly modded gte/gsi engine (1.6) but only if it is highly moded, internals cam etc etc.

most people run 45s on 2ltr engines :o so i would have thought you wouldnt just flood your engine youd drown the f00ker!

Its not to do with the fuel, its speed of airflow. You need decent airspeed to have any torque, and having to large a choke size will reduce airspeed.

so i was kinda right in saying it would be pointles, and i was right when i said you need LOTS of mods for bigger carbs on a small engine.

just the reason behind it was wrong :cry: me cry! - lol almost close though! bear with me ive not long entered the T40 world :lol:
