dont know my **** from my elbow when it comes to wiring.
i have a 1989 mk1 Nova. just bought myself a sound system.
Nova only has a radio. will all the necessary wiring be there for a Cd player headunit?
probably a noobish question but nvm
help appreciated

Yep, If it dosnt have rear speakers your have to connect them to the fronts.

what ?
Why not connect them to the stereo? As crazy as it sounds
If the loom hasnt got rear speakers, and you dont have the correct pins and dont want to suffer a dodgy connection, quick way is to splice them into the fronts.
Thus reducing the resistance, of which most stereos require four ohms to two ohms and could possibly damage the headunit, the best option is to go to the scrappy and get a donor iso plug, to relieve of the rear speaker pins
change the yellow wire with the red wire, you will see what I mean when you look at it, as vaux's perm live is the other way round.

The connector block will protect the pins. Don't attempt to double connect a speaker else you risk overloading the speaker and/or headunit - bad wiring = fire lol
