what to look for when buying a nova? rust - the main thing lol check all bodywork like arches, doors and sills. other places for novas to go are in the boot corners and battery tray. just check ALL over the car and the engine bay for rot. surface rust isnt so bad but full on rotten metal you want to avoid depending on if you want to repair it. engine wise just look out for usualy knocks and bangs etc..

if you can, remove the front bumper and see the front crossmember. thats the mistake i made with my first nova, and when i got it home and took off the bumper, the crossmember was non existant! lol completely rotted away

best of giving him a call and finding out

and doing all the work your self
