View Full Version : Avon ZV5
...any good?
Tyre bloke has recommended these for the Celica. At £87.50+vat a shot, thats >£400 for a full set and I'd like to know if they're worth the price.
If not I'll whack some more Falken FK452s on for £220 again :D
kumho KU31 :D
I refuse to touch Kumhos after the crappy ones I have on now lol
kumho ditchfinders :D
Errr ookay lol

Not heard anything on the zv5s. I had zv3s on the cav - i thought they were pretty good - but quite soft, only lasted 7k.....

Avon, the make-up company lol
Little old lady comes to your door every now and then with a magazine wiht make-up in it?
Oh yeah, a woman would think of that whereas its a brand of tyre to us guys lol
Errr ookay lol
PROOF or face a months sin bin :p
the KU31 is a really highly rated tyre for track/road use by the homosexuals that drive VElises :D And Mr Ad seemed to get good results from his on a nova.
I wouldnt fit any other Kumho road tyres though (track stuff yes) as yes they are ditchfinder crap, but the KU31 is a gem in the lineup, plus uber cheap
ive also heard excellent stuff bout these from the manta boys.../\
Ive only ever experienced ecsta supras and as theyre budget tyres i assumed that kumho were a budget brand, the supras are fairly good in the dry but we never have it dry all the time and theyre really bad in the wet so i based my judgment upon those, sorry stu lol
I did have the tyre fitter say " why do you want those, they are budget crap" when I called to order them in. Meh I love them!!! tons of grip in the wet and dry, nice and progressive on the limit and wear everso well.
Will they hold a car that weighs more than a packet of crisps though? lol
Furry muff i shall take note of your recommendation:thumb:
har har fat 'leeka lmao! hang on ive got some nanjin remoulds jack, they do??
Am i the only one who thinks that ^^^^ is not english?
Got a good price on Falken FK452s (£100 cheaper than the Avons lol) so I'm going back to them :D
As Stu said, ku31s are highly rated. They are cheaper than Nankangs too!!!
