induction kit for 1.2 SPi

has n e got or even seen the induction kits that green make for the nova 1.2 SPi???

just wanting to know what they r like and if they r n e good cos i cant b arsed to pay ?70 odd for a crap kit when i could just get a corsa 1.2 SPi one

got one the other day. not bad. Kit comprises of two filters, one for the top of the injector and another for the oil breather pipe. Much better noise + it smoothed out some flat spots.
Me and Sheep did both have on, so any questions just ask. :)

would u still need the corsa box? or does this go directly on the injector???

so that green kit comes with a new air box thingy is that what your trying to say?, because the 1.2i has that big round air box that you couldn't attach anything too!

and as for flat spots on a 1.2 ya wouldn't really notice them there's not enough power in the engine!

just been to the site www.greenfilters.com and from what i can see the filter looks v.similar to a bolt on filter.

think i will see bout getting one after xmas and i will be able to give you my opinion on it.

the green bolts onto the top of the throttle body like a bolt on where as the corsa system (unless u buy a green in which case u get the same thing) will have a normal ducted cone filter type thing

yeah but if u buy the corsa green filter indtuction kit, and go a scrapy and get a couple of bits, it is a induction kit

you would think that one of the filter companies would have caught on about the 2 engines being exactly the same and just make their own adaption of the corsa box to form a nova induction kit.

though that might be a bit on the pricey side and maybe slightly illegal

how could you even think of putting corsa parts on a nova :roll:
thx god the carlton muti point injection,
if ya after more power bla bla bla(come on its a 1.2)
the just make it run on carbs,

IV'E HAD THE GREEN INDUCTION KIT ON MY 1.2 SPI NOVA FOR ABOUT 3MONTH'S. IT JUST SCREWS ON TNE TOP OF THE THROTTLE BODY/INJECTOR. IT SOUNDS PHAT WHEN YOU HOLD IT ON THE REV LIMITER AT 6500RPM. IT'S FOR SALE WITH THE OIL BREATHER FOR ?45 QUID. IF YOU WANIT LEAVE ME A MSG ON ERE SHEFFIELD/ROTHERHAM AREA :twisted:

the corsa box by Green is identical to the nova box by Green

as in it replaces the old ducting totally


secondly the spi is rev limited at 6000rpm's not 6500
