what bhp would a 1.3 sr Nova engine have with a polished & Ported head and a vernier pulley and cam. thanks :)

I would say about 80ish depending on what cam your using. The engine will have been only 72 as standard anyway.
Also depends if your running anything else with it.

whack on some webers and a cam and your looking at going faster then a gte gsi if your engine is in good nick

apart from the 1.3 having a different carb/manifold & a 4-2-1 exhaust, not a 4-1 like on the 1.2, the engines are externally identical

As above.

1.3's have a different throttle cable, everything else is the same. 1.3's would have come with a 5speed box though (F10 or F13?) And you would get away with the exhaust, i ran a 1.4 with a 1.2 4-1 exhaust.

If you change the exhaust you will need the centre seciton too.
