i was thinking about choping out the unused wires in my engine loom good idea or not:confused:

do it i done mine. never took the dash out mind just cut it all back to the passenger side bulkhead.

If you do, cut one by one, then check the engine running etc

some wires may have power to them, especially if any wires are coloured black (switched positive). I would insulate all cut end to be safe.
