my brothers got a 1.2 8v corsa and i was told if u put clocks out of a sport in it the rev counter should work so got some clocks fitted them and it doesnt work there is a green wire comming off the coil which i belive is the one to run the rev counter so why does it no work help please

Does the green wire actually go up to the dials? lol

You might find its taped up in the loom somewhere.

Make sure its connected the block on the back of the clocks if you havnt already.

not sure as it goes into the loom mite just do a new wire

There should be a rev signal wire going to the ecu in the drivers footwell, Take a feed off of that, and if your plug at the rear of the clocks doesn't have a green wire going to it, you need to get another connector off another corsa one and put in to the slot thats numbered 15 ( there is numbers on the back of the plug)

And that should be it

the green wire is a neg wire it only part of it an after market counter has one to coil - one to battery - one to ignision live dont know if that helps
