Hi. Does anyone know if the diffs in F20s and F28s are interchangeable?

yeh they are as long as the f28 is only 2wd.

Same part number, but you need a shim if you are going to swap from 20 to 28...

Thanks. I've got an F20 at the minute, with a Tran-x plate diff getting put in. The box is getting put on a v6, and a few people have suggested that a F28 would be better suited to the engine. Thought I'd try the F20 before I start messing about with all the mounts and linkages etc. But it's good to know i can build the diff into a 6 speeder if i need too. Thanks guys!
