Noticed white sludge under my oil cap the other day does this mean the head gasket has gone/ going? haven't noticed any drop in power :(

Could be but the sludge can be caused by condensation in the oil, can happen if you do mainly short journeys - especially in this colder weather.
If its the gasket, I think some garages can do a pressure check on the cooling system which could show if the gasket has gone between an oil and waterway as a normal engine compression test would not show this up.

Yeah i do, do a lot of short journeys, and it isn't losing any more water than usual.

No it doesn't smoke at all. Cheers Lads doesn't sound anything serious then.

Just give your oil a regular change using good quality stuff to avoid exessive sludge build up.
