We didn't get a single flake last night! We still have snow though, so not all bad. Although the gritters around are way must be driven by people who know what they are doing since all the main roads are fine. Even the country lane I travel through was ok FFS! The only chances for a bit of driftage were coming out of my street and going in to works carpark.

:) :) :) It actually snowed !! had a brilliant day !!! got up as usual and saw what it was like, walked round to the bosses house (lives 2 secs away) to see if i could get a lift with him, told him that the main road upto where i work was closed and he was umming and ahhing then said, have the day of, go and have some fun in the snow !! Brilliant !!! i think everyone else went in but i wasnt goin to argue !! sledging firstly, then got a call from a friends dad who was ment to be moving house that day to spain ! seeing if me and a mate could come with a tractor to tow the removal lorry up the track to his ( a forestry commission track) had an epic day, all thanks to the snow :)

Centimeter or so in Yeovil, mostly slush though. Apparently everywhere round us has about 4-5" though (Taunton, Burnham, Ilminster, even Cary which is literally only 5 miles up the road from Yeovilton!), people are struggling to get into work again. The mighty nova made it in today though lol

Cle thats mental - we got snowed in a on Wednesday (about 6 inches but nowt like that!)

Gave me an excuse to take a day off work anyway - our local council ranb out or grit

We'll snow's not exactly stopping anyone up here, Still got post today and bin's empty'd and on friday it wasent as bad but still deep and i had school even thought two bus's crashed on the way to pick us up. Ever since we got a new head teacher she's determined to keep the school open at all costs even if there's bus's crashing which is stupidity at it's finest. No doubt i'll have school on monday even if it stays like this. My dad's still Traveling like 40miles to work as he's on shift at the moment and he says the road's are fine as long as your not being stupid. So (no affence to anyone) i dont really understand why in england there have like 1/2 a foot of snow and it's total mayhem and the news is saying people are stuck in there cars and cant get to work, My advice, come stay here over a bad winter then you'll have no problems once you go home.
