i have been thinking. my nova is lowered 70mm at the front and the balljoints dont seem to be lasting that long. i have put it down to the fact that the lower arm is sitting nearly straight therefor the balljoint is sitting auckward due to them not being straight. my thought is (with somebodys knowhow) i would like to see if it would be worth while straightning the balljoint. or would this cause more problems. i have included a poor diagram with what i am intending on doing. so please feedback welcome.

I dont think you can straighten the current joints without compromising the grease etc in the joint as you will need some heat to be able to do it without snappage.

Cunning idea though

ok never really thought about the weakness side of things. was looking at my nova today and was looking at the position of the ball joint it looks like it would be kind of going beyond its limit (if that makes sense) therefor causing more wear?

uniballs at a different angle?

could try an angled spacer between the std joint and arm... but might cock up the suspension dynamics

not sure just dont have the funds for uniballs atm. plus i think they would wear down in no time with the roads by me.
