Corsa / Nova roll cage differances

A friends just been on the phone as his newphew's just bought a Corsa to build as his first track car (he's only 15)

He's been offered a Nova roll cage, Now I assume it wouldnt fit, but just incase I thought i'd ask here.

He said if it wasnt too far off he'd make it fit.

What you guys think?:

Arn't Corsas wider than a Nova. If they are then the cage will be too narrow. That said if there isn't alot in it then it maybe worth a shout. I would suspect that it wouldn't fit though.

just buy one for a corsa. no point in having a cage if its not made for that exact car.

yea with a cage it will only be approved if its for the correct car

I Know a Fearless Motorsport alloy cage has been fitted to a Corsa B - Not sure how close a fit it was - but it fitted in !!!!

Doubt it will fit TBH as Corsa rear braces dont fit Nova's.

Would be nowhere near the roof either as corsa has a higher roof.

Is this cage located in Redcastle by any chance?

Also, I dont think you need an approved Cage if its for use at Aghadewey, as long as its constructed to a certain standard you can get away with a DIY item. I'm sure there are guidelines or at least links to them on the Tracks website.
