you will need the red and the yellow connected
one is a permanent live, the other is the switched live.
does the cd player work?? may sound silly but

ive connected the red to the yellow which still works the "cd"player, but there is no display and no sound,im thinking with the stereo being in the shed for nearly 8 month,it could of gained condensation etc,im saying this as ive just used my original cassete player out the nova which has been in the wardrobe upstair's for 4 year's and works, display, sound everything!??.would you agree its time for the hammer!

if its a kenwood mask i think there is a break in the flat ribbon that joins the face back plate to the stereo.

Yep, thats right. Black can earth anywhere, there's bound to be an earth point near the stereo somewhere. If not, there's one to the left of the steering column.
Blue wire will be the remote turn on for the amp.
You'll also of course need to run power to the amp.

wardrobe warrior, whack it with the hammer hahha fcuk damn im drunk. the red and the yellow! peace! hhaha ****
easy thing to do is get an iso conecter from halfrauds and it comes with a wiring diagram.
Much easyer to work with than lots of wires everywere imo.
