£200 !!! Ha ha, no matter how much you know someone even if it's you best mate your seriously not going to get anything remotley good for this money ! the materials cost will be more than this to do a good job !! if you pay someone £200 for a full respray your going to be severley dissapointed, the time that it takes to do all the prep work to do a respray the guy would be completley shooting himself in the foot doing it for £200 !!

Not a bad price..but then you work in a bodyshop dont you??

Why people seem to think that paying next to nothing for a paintjob is good, is beyond me! I'd be happy to pay a fair bit and get a good result that i would be happy with.

 cos paying not a lot of money for an expensive job is good, like i said car in my avatar cost £75 and was a great finish, same quality as if i had paid full price. not everybody can afford hundreds or thousands for a respray

its the painter that makes the difference. my mate done loads of parts for me and the finish was perfect.

Totally agree with you mate ! some people are completley full of s**t on here !! yeh your going to get a really good paintjob for £50 !! It'd cost more than that to do it with rattle cans !! if you've ever even attempted to paint the smallest of things you would realise how long it takes to prep for paint, time is money and i dont care what anybody says your simply not going to get anything remotley decent for anything near that prices people have been saying.

some people do their own prep so dont have to pay for it and have friends/family members in the trade. if you know the right people, you can get a cheap job

i was going to pay £700 for a top class paint job. ''nobody will know it was a blue car unless they really search''
im seeing someone this week sometime, old friend, who turned out to be a car sprayer lol maybe he could do me a good price. should work out alot cheaper if all the prep work is done myself though? primer etc..

if your preping your self then clean up as much original paint as possible and degrese everything to help for masking! avoid over spaying primer ect, save time and paint! defo stay red imo, as mint red paint looks excellent any nova
