backbox??

gota 1.4i so prety certain its gota cat.

its a 92 j plate so wud i get away wiv replacin the cat wiv say a GTE section 4 an M.O.T??wud this release a bit more power? is it worth it?

also. wot sort ov backbox or half system wud ne1 recomend as iv got bout ?150 2 spend on it+ wud like a double tailpipe like the peco powermaster (sort ov square/oval shaped!) but av herd frm many that peco r wank?!!

Yes all 1.4i models had a cat fitted as standard but as its a J reg, you can remove it as its not required for an MOT. Only K reg onwards will be tested for at MOT time.

he has had his car decat very recently, perhaps pm him or something look for his email. he will gladly tell you

i think he did notice a difference, mainly in noise, but also a tiny bit of performance, im not sure. its dosent add power, just makes it a lit bit better at pick up i think
