i was wondering what type of gearbox oil is in my gearbox. it is a corsa 1.6i sport.

Gearbox oil obv, its weight will be defined in the owners manual or a Haynes manual chap.

i cant find what type it is in the haynes manual, doesnt say. is it gearbox oil or automatic transmision fluid.

no its a 5 speed. some use atf i think. hence the question

GM in their infinate wisdom use ATF (DEXRON III) in their manual gear boxes (except the F23).

but 75/90 gear oil will work (although might be a touch thick on cold days)

i used 75/90 as its wat it says in autodata books or which ever book i usd at work.lol
