I'm using a Bailey one. I decided to fit one when I converted my 20xe to carbs. They come up forsale from time to time but you have to be quick or you can buy them new. The Bailey one is designed for the nova which fits around the O/S/F strut.

am i right in saying that, once mounted, you just run one line from the rocker cover spout to the catch tank itself and thats it?

the one im looking at has two inlets, whats the other for? a breather?

It should have a inlet for the block breather (Below the inlet)

My car has a oil catch bottle, untill i find a proper tank cheap, its just a plastic bottle hidden.

Havnt got any pics (and ive now gone for 16v) but there should be a pipe coming out of the block, may have a little box on it. Eather way you want to get the outlet for that to your tank.

asaik you take the large cam cover breather to the catch tank then a filter on the other catch tank outlet to let it breath. the small outlet on the cam cover can be blocked off.

You can sort of see it in these pics. The blue one has got the a slightly modded breather system but is running serious spec. For you carbs you just need setup like the one below.

ignore "this pipe" and "vacume seal" - that was for something else

You just need to run the breather going to the throttle body to the tank.

nice one! cheers mate! i thought that was all that was involved but it seemed too simple!

Thats my understanding anyhow (*disclaimer).

All the standard system is doing is sticking it back through to burn it off (and gunk up your throttle body!). On a good clean engine you can sometimes get away with a filter straight onto the cover but use a tank or bottle is best.

Simps - yep, thats how i understand it too. My way was slighly more complicated but means that its all dirrected to the tank rather than going through the cam cover/box etc.
