It always interests me how many companies Fiat actually own! Wonder if the current 'owner' of Ferrari still drives there in a Sciecento (sp) with prancing horse badges? lol
*can't rep you at present brother :(
it has the link about GM owning a chunk of fiat. Colonel Gaddafi also owns a chunk of fiat. I bet that makes for a fun shareholders christmas pissup
theres a link missing, toyota own a controlling share in yamaha! also i cant see the saturn motors logo.......

Ih god yeah, but tbh, if they wern't, they wouldnt be so cheap.
If VW wants a new golf, its a damn sight cheaper to develop the chassis with Seat Audi and Skoda. if they all had to spend the millions individually there would be a good few more grand on the price of a new car!
Look at the Merc Sprinter and VW crafter. Or the Vauxhall, Nissan and renault vans that are identical bar a badge and dashboard. Just keeps costs down/

Oh im not saying its a bad thing and i understand completely why, its getting increasingly funnier tho as people say X badge is crap, or Y badge is the dogs - when everytime a new load of cars come out theyre gettin more similar everytime ha ha.

Ummmm Lee, Volvo CARS are owned by Ford, all other Volvo operations are French (ie lorries).
JV's have been going on for years, as said keeps the costs down and also increases the beta test volumes ;)
