i got a runabout daewoo estate that ive blown up does anyone know if theres a vauxhall diesel engine that will bolt straight onto the daewoo mounts the original engine is a 1800 16v

not too sure mate , i know daewoo lanos parts can be used on the old astras some people use the daewoo shafts for XE conversions aswell .

ive been told that the engine is based on a vauxhall not 100% on that though just fancy stickin a derv in it if i can get one that will go straight in easier to get hold of thatn a daewoo lump as well

its basically a x18xe as fitted to the astra mk4's mount wise, but the inlet and ecu are daewoo's. noting wire wise is the same, but the us guys have been stuffing c20let's with f28's in for ages. i reckon a zlet would go in no prob, or get a vectra b 2.0 block and head and use that. the izuzu will go in but its the wiring aspect as i mentioned. have fun!!! p.s try a z20let........

a fella i know had a 2.0 vauxhall engine in one of these. he now has a 1.7td vauxhall engine in it now

dude, if its anythin like the lanos, its based on the mk4 astra chassis anyways,

so what can u fit into an mk4 astra?

the daewoo has holden engines, but an ecotec is an ecotec.... a td should fit though

if i knew 100% itd fit id go out and get one no one seems to know for def though, dont wanna spend on one an it not fit
