I'v just finished puuting a nova GTE engine in my corsa sport. It fires up 1st time but then it konks out. Its getting to much fuel which then clogs up the plugs and konks out. Its flooding itself. Me and my old boy have had a look and the next thing we was going to try was a new air flow meter. Can anyone help us?

seriously, to save spending big money, get it to a garage with a decent diagnostic machine...

Does It Have A Fse Boost Valve Fitted ?????? If So Bin It And Fit A Standard One !! Fuel Pressure Should Be At About 2.5

Did it idle OK to begin with or was it lumpy & rough?
Check for any air leaks in & around the inlet piping & any vacuum pipes that run to the accessories fitted to the inlet.

it hasn't got a power boost valve and there isn't any leaks at all. i read the haynes manual and looked up on the internet and i was under the impression that theres a screw on the airflow meter that adjusts the mixture. i tryed this as it never made any difference so i think the airflow meters knackered.
I will repeat
