Turbo`d 1600

I read a while back about someone turboing a 1600 nova cheaply, using a plate to lower the comperssion etc. Whoever it was, were you just takin` the piss or did you really do it? I`d be interested in hearing what turbo you used and how you went about fittin` it! I live in hope.

No mate was not the taking piss the conversion has been done by me using a custom made sandwich plate 2mm thick 2 head gaskets, mahle pistons, custom made down pipe and using a bigger turbo Garret T3 and boy does she fly....dont live in hope it can be done and courtney setup the car up for me and were very impressed with the conversion....had to have extra fuel switch fitted to pump more fuel etc .....have fun....
