Right i.ve trial fitted my snow plough using a mk2 bumper backer as it looked the same as the one that came with it, but the bumper stick's out quite alot just wandering if the brackets that go into the chassis legs are different?

Yup, mk 2 bumper brackets (90 degree things) are longer than mk1's

You could modify the ones you have if you know the length they should be.

Don't know if it's of use but they tend to get called bumper irons.

That's the bit that sits inside the bumper, these bits connect the bumper iron to the car.

Oh. I thought the 90* bits were the irons, and the bar was called a carrier dude?
Like many things, it sometimes doesn't matter if you know the name or not, as long as you know what to do lol

lol well i need some mk1's then cbf to modify mine.

was just going to make the holes in he chassis leg longer
