Hi Peeps, can you help please, just rang POTN (Performance On The Net) as Gmax dont deal directly with public ''aparently'' to purchase a 60mm suspension Kit for the nova but only do a 40mm drop for the GTE, i asked whether the 40mm kit is in fact a 60mm kit as the GTE's 20mm lowever then standard thus marketed as a 40mm kit (i.e. minus 20mm from the 60mm) but he didn't seem to have a clue!!!!!! :-(

Before i buy it just wanted confirmation as i dont wanna buy the kit put it on and find out its sitting too high.

I put one cav slab on the front with 15, 195 45 profile and the gap between the top of the tyre and arch is around 75mm when i measured a 40mm drop it didn't look as low as the pics ive seen on here with 60mm kits. Pls help??????

As above lol

I wouldn't bother tbh though dude. I know it's not the answer you wanted though lol

I had a 60mm kit on my 14 SR and the ride quality was horrendous. I gave 20 quid for it from a mates Corsa though so I wasn't too miffed.

Advice? save your money and buy a better setup.Gmax are ars.If you want to know the ride quality just save your money and put the springs on your standard nova shocks

Too be honest i'm tired now, i've looked at so many threads on this site regarding suspension kits that i care to remember and alot of peeps are saying Gmax are ok for the money and the ride is comfortable, my last nova aparently had jamex now gmax hence why! I just want the desired ride height too give it the slammed look! :-)

I really appreciate the feed back, but i'm not getting the question answered, to put a spanner in the works, the guy from supernovas in birmingham recons the 60mm kit made for the poverty spec nova go straight on to the sr/gte/gsi.

Whats kits with lowering measurements do you guys have on your sr/gte/gsi pls!!!! did you purchase a specific 60mm kit or 40 (but its actually 60mm)??

Alternatively if someone can recommend a half decent kit for between £250-300.

P.s dont want the extra weight of a coilover kit for pottering around town, cheers!!

Good lad.

A whole thread full of people pointing out how crap something is & for a minute it looked like you were going to ignore good advice!

IMO anyone that says GMAX is good/OK havent owned a decent susp kit.
