what to do

Right, I have been single now for 6 months now :roll: and at first I like just playing round and that but I am getting a bit bored now. I have now found someone I REALLY LIKE :wink: . She is 19, slim, fit, smart, good laugh and everthing I would ever want. I can't stop thinking of her, think about 24/7. My mate is a good friend of hers, should I get him to test the water? She came out clubbing saturday night with us, after I asked her. She said I could have stay at hers that night, But I think that was as friends because my mate was staying there too., But I didn't stay because I had to work on the sunday :roll: . She said the next day that she had a good time and would like to come out with us again. The thing is I work with her and I don't know what to do.

Should I ask her out
Test the water
Or leave it

Get your mate to test the water. Saves you having to test and making a fool of urself if she dont want a relationship. Hope it works out matey.

invite her out for a drink one night, just the two of you... see how it goes from there. if she seems to be having a really good time, and you are getting the right signals... go for the goodnight kiss... if not... you had a really good night with someone who can become a good friend.

These situations are always complcated by having to work with them, i have had this problem in the past and when it all went wrong for one reason or another - I ended up leaving my old job as bar supervisor in a nightclub which i loved beacuse i couldn't be doing with the hassle from people and the discomfort when she was working on my bar. BUT - when we were seeing each other it was great, we got on really well and have since settled our differences and although we don't speak too often, when we do we get on great.

At the end of the day it is up to you mate... if you are the brave type, just ask her out and make a move - but if you are a bit more cautious, better off inviting her out for a drink, casually as a friend and taking it from there.

I know that she isn't or would never be a snake!
I went down the pub to clear my head and all the time I was there I couldn't stop thinking about, so I came home.
I really like her, she is everthing I could ever want. She is very down to earth and she isn't up her own arse.
I only work with her on a Sunday night, but I used to work with her loads but as it's not so busy now. She doesn't work as much :( .
She is working Boxing day and I am not, so I know I will end up at work just to see her :oops: .
She is just great - she is what I want = a girlfriend and a good mate.
She isn't a girlie girl, I don't mean she looks like a bloke. But she would prob help you strip down and rebuilt a engine, but at the same time she is soooooo fit :P .

Find excuses to spend time with her, that way you can decide what is more important, keeping her as a friend you can look at when times are hard, or as something more that you can play with.

The other thing is that I don't know if she has boyfriend, I don't think she has because she never talks about anyone.

She might not tell him the truth. I know of girls that say that they don't like/hate (to others) someone, but they tell me how much they actually fancy that person and etc. Funny really, girls seem to tell me everything. I'm like 'one of the girls' ! :lol: But with a penis. A BIG penis. :lol:

In my experience, if your in with a chance, a girl will drop subtle hints that she's single. Maybe she's playing hard to get.

Thanks for all the advise, I sent her a couple of messages tonight and we had a text chat. She said that she had a good time and she would like to go out again as a group( I didn't ask about just me and her). She is now working Saturday and Sunday :D . So I will do a bit of testing the water on Saturaday(after a couple of pints :P) and If it's a green light I will go for it Sunday :wink: . Wish me luck :)

I was going out Saturday night but I'm staying on at work to be with her :) and I will go out after work :D . I have tried different thing to stop me thinking of but none worked :oops: . I had a mix, went to work(1/2 day), went down the pub, logged on here, went down the pub again and started painting the house(finished at 10.30pm :roll:) but none worked. Anyway I will find out Saturday :? .

Good news, have nearly finished painting the house and it's looking quite good. I even found under a carpet in a cupboard a newpaper from 1972, you should see some of the ad's in it :lol: .
Painting did help a bit to day to take my mine off her a little bit :oops: . But I can't wait work Saturday now :o . Mind you by the end of the shift I will p!ssed and then I going out up town after work :P .

i have to agree - you apply a little confidence and it goes a long way.

When i went out the first time with the missus i was a bit quiet and shy about things... everything was good in the end but on reflection would have been better if had shown a little more confidence.
