Changing Doors

How do you change the doors on a nova? Help?

buy the tool from a motor factors (get one for hollow pins). should be about a tenner to buy, but saves ages of p*ssing around. the one i got was made by draper, but from reading other posts i think sykes pickavant and probly others make the tool too.

do i have to buy new pins? Once i have the tool, is it a case of hitting with a hammer? cos the bottom pin will be a bastard getting too!!!!!

with the tool, small pins go through the hollow door pins. the tool is then put on the end of the pin and hit with a hammer. its quite self-explanatory wen u get the tool-ul soon c how it all works.
the top pin is hit out downwards and the bottom pin upwards.
i was able 2 reuse my door pins no problem. :wink:

I didn't use the reccomended tool, which isn't a good idea.

I got 2 new pins from my Vaux dealer for under ?1. They were a different design to the ones I took out, they had a thin cut down them so they can shrink as the go in.
