The reason im writing this post is because i drive this road at this time every night, so i would like to know what u lot think happened?
Coming home tonight at 11.30pm from the gf's, (leanne, as u prob all know who she is by now) i was over taken by a police car with sirens going, and saw up ahead 2 buses with about 4 cars stopped behind it.
I pull over, as u would, to let the police past and then get to the back of the que. The 2 buses turn around using a road on the right hand side to drive up and reverse back onto the road to go back on themselves, i get closer to the front of the que. i go up the road on the right hand side, park up to see whats happened, ok i was prob being nosey but i'd like to know how it happened too.
Stats about the road:
- the road is wet from a light constant rain
- the road is wide enough for 3 lanes as u can see a bus lane starts in the opposite lane. which means each lane is very wide.
- the road begins to bend slightly round to the left.
- the road can be slippery when wet, as it was tonight.
- on the left is a lake(indicated by blue) with trees making the left hand bend slighty blind, a wall is also between the pavement and trees and lake.
as you can see form the picture the red car (going the same way i do to go home) is in the middle of the road(should be on the left)
and the white car is on it's roof on the pavement right upto the wall (i think it was traveling in the opposite direction)

when i walked closer i couln't see anyone in the white car but the paremedics were paying special attention to the drive of the red car.
couldn't see any bad damage to the red car, might of been some at the fornt but couldn't see it.
the wheel of the white car on it's roof is behind the red car with half the axil still on it (this bit aint really relivent)
The speed limit on this road is 40MPH.
Now i know i speed but i would probably take this corner about 60MPH in the wet without feeling any danger.
I would think the white car skidded from going to fast and clipped the red car then hit the pavement then turned it...
ok that prob how it is happened now i think of it but im not posting this after ive writen so much!
How do u lot think this could of happened?
