is there any way i can find the market value of a car on the net?
my pals looking to trade in the astra VXR for a EVO X:thumb:
Feck, someone posted a link on here a while back for an online car buying site...
TBH, just go to a garage and ask what they'd likely give you for it. Or look on autotrader, take the average price, halve it, there's your answer :D

parkers?
Thing with Parkers is they'll give you an initial base price, but if you want to adjust it to suit the condition/mileage of the car, they want you to subscribe to them........

Parkers, Glass' etc will give you a rough idea of what a trader will give you for it.
I reckon you'll get a good £12k to £16k on a trade in for a VXR chap. He'd be a lot better off selling it privatly TBH. Well, thats if any one has any money to buy cars at the mo?

I agree with riggy, 8-10 trade in imo. Selling for 13-15 so can't see him getting much more.

You can pick them up for 9.5k upwards. Thats alot of car for not alot of money IMO.

Didn't think they were as cheap as that. Alot of bang for yer buck though. Good time to buy for those who can.

BMW will more than likely hold some of its value. Cant help feeling the current climate and GM's struggle in America are having a negative effect on used Vauxhall prices.

The Vauxhall badge kills its value.
