I was thinking of doing some carbon wrapped versions of these (original part, covered in carbon weave) Obviously looks the part but costs a considerable amount less.
I wouldn't mind a Carbon grab handle :)

If you're reffering to my post, I would like to say it is real carbon fibre.
Just not moulded. Its the original part, wrapped in real carbon fibre matting.
Cuts a lot on cost and still obviously looks real.
How much weight can you save on a grab handle or interior trim panel that size?
Dont tell me you want them for weight saving, if you are, then I'm afraid you're barking up the wrong tree.
Its looking cool;) not for weight saving.

Yep, no point in having the whole thing made from CF when all you want is the looks.

Yep, seems he's quite good at it.
Looking at making some bits myself, then maybe make some for other people to get some of my cash back afterwards, should there be any CF matting or anything left. When you look at how much the resins etc last, its only really the matting that costs the money, and from some places it aint too bad.
Don't know why some people think it's such a magic art, more people should try it themselves.
Read the thread Jay and do it your self.

No way! I'd make a mess!
Isnt that hard. Give it a go.

I may do Ben, looks complicated though, all this mixing and measuring stuff.
Nah you can get cups that have the table printer on the insides.
