The van its self is a 1.7TD frame and body. It has been fitted with a 2.0l 16v out of a calibra. The van is a dream to drive and the engine is running well, pulling through every gear as it should. the mileage doesnt reflect the condition and up keep of the engine. I bought the van in November with the intention of running it on throttle bodies, but due to insurance circumstances I have decided on a reluctant sale of this. If this van doesn't go in the next few days am going to take out the c20xe engine and fit a smaller engine in it for insurance purposes.
The van has been warmed up and cooled down properly every day and drove twice round the block. Before I bought the car the van had the following fitted:-
New 16 valves
A brand new timing belt and pulleys
Head gasket
And has been fully serviced every 5000 miles.
Since owning the van I have changed the oil, petrol filters, oil filter and spark plugs.
As you can see the car has had a lot of work done to it, as you can see.
Here is a spec of modifications to the outside
THE REAR WINDOW WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH A FIBREGLASS MOULD WHICH WAS SMOOTHED INTO THE REST OF THE TAILGATE AND FITTED WITH A SAXO VTR REAR SPOILER
THE FRONT BUMPER HAD THE NUMBER PLATE RECESS FILLED IN AND SMOOTHED!
THE VAN WAS THEN PAINTED FROM BLUE TO JET BLACK AND FITTED WITH 17INCH ALLOYS BLACK SPOKES ORANGE LIP!
60MM APEX LOWERING SPRINGS
SMOKED HEADLIGHTS AND INDICATORS
CUSTOM FRONT BUMPER WITH LAGUNA SPLITTER
CUSTOM REAR BUMPER
CUSTOM TAILGATE WITH SAXO VTR SPOILER

SPARCO STEERING WHEEL
SONY CD PLAYER AND 10DISC MULTI CHANGER
GROUND ZERO 12INCH SUBWOOFER WITH AMPLIFIER

It also has –
CALIBRA FRONT DISCS
CAVALIER GSI REAR AXEL WITH DISCS
OVAL BACK BOX
That's all in the modifications; the van is in the process of being registered as a 2.0l 16v
And will come with 12 months mot. Or the price of that knocked off if it doesn't.
The horn needs wiring up and also a back light bulb which I will do before the sale.
I would like this to go a.s.a.p. but if if it doesn't by the time I get the log book back the van engine will be changed and the log book changed again because I would love to drive around in this. i am just not up to the hassle of changing it again. This is an ultimate head turner as u will see for urself. It looks better seeing it than in the pictures.
yes part ex, money either way, any car under a 2.0l. would like a nova, corsa b redtop, mercedes, bmw, audi. no fords or renaults or citreons please.
