BACK BOX QUESTION! CAT OR NOT J REG 1.2

Hi

Could someone tell me if a Peco Big Bore 4 backbox will fit onto a J Reg 1992 1.2 Luxe? The reason why I ask is because the listings for the exhaust only goto 1991 and I was told by a sales assistant that I will need to find out if it will fit/has a CAT converter.
Has any one got a late 1.2 with a Peco!?!

should do mate.
the backbox comes after the catalytic converter anyway, so it doesnt matter whether its there or not!

So the pipes and their positioning to the back box are the same on a mk2 as a mk1?!?!

If your Nova is an injection model, chances are it will have a Cat, if its a carb model it wont. As said above - it doesn't make any difference to the back box anyway.

Don't get a Peco they are cr@p! My brother had one on his SR.

Don't get a Peco they are cr@p! My brother had one on his SR. If you want a cheap backbox go for something like rage(they make 4 inch and 5 inch :twisted: tailpipes). Cats only come on injection models

any nova backbox will fit any nova the only diff is the exit angle

Wouldnt a 4" backbox cause power loss and farting on a 1.2, rather than gain and loudness.
I've heard from a few people that a 3" would be better, but of course, they had a 3" BBox themselves.

What can any one recommend!?
