Clio Trophey Cup 182 Tuning

My best friend has just bought a Trophey Cup 182. I just wanted to know where to start really - tuning wise.

Alos gotta get some info on the enemy! lol

Well, im sure not many one here will know but try the usual stuff, chip, cams, exhaust etc etc

I've seen a turbo conversion runnign 250hp... and 60 year old guy who owned it in his tweed gear lol

Tuning is the same with any car... mind you, they're pretty quick and handle really well!

I cba with joining another forum.

I was just after a general idea i.e. can anyone point me out a good exhaust system thats tried and tested and such like.

Im sure someone on here has one or has a mate that has one.

thats what i had on mine but i put a subaru back box on it instead,
u want a sports cat and lower it 60mm no more no less,
ive gone from my clios to my nova lol

I thought Renault had squeezed out most of the horse's from standard, making them not very tunable :confused:

nope can be thuned
thers turbo kist and itbs off the shelf for them.

k tec do a good cat back system and pannel filter the espace v6 air box work well as a cheap mod


get a rs tuner too so you can remap it ur self brillant bit of kit.

My friend ant has a 320bhp clio turbo conversion.

my mates got one and he said they are not that easy to tune a renault did quite a good job he said a good mod to do is a modified inlet manifold which can add up to 10 bhp and they are about £140 exchange any thing else your starting to go in to big money to get good gains
