Just put a deposit down on an Astra GTE im going to mint-up then enjoy bascially, the plan was to XE it and mess around with it but now its going to stay standard!

Genuine 94k from new, 1 owner, FULL service history, every reciept from new including original bill of sale. Very good condition, requires a pair of rear arches and a driver wing, then just odds and sods, i pick it up Friday so ill update pictures etc etc

Great cars had a white gte 8v myself which i put a 16v in. I would definatly get an xe in there, i know the 8v is a good engine but there alot more fun with the 16v, you will notice one hell of a difference :)

edit- ive got a passenger wing mirror here actually, white bit scratched, no glass with it but has the motor. Pm me an offer if your interested

lol Just had a flash back!!

I had a white 16v one sat on my front garden for a few years, it's what i got my XE from, and then slowly broke it, whie it rotted into the garden lol

I also have a few bit's mainly interior stuff, glove box, vents, steering coloum surrond etc, but have both electric wing mirrors, rear pop out windows & surrounds, let us know if you need anything.

Well that lasted long lol Yesterday i bought 3 new cars so my plans have changed slightly, bought a calibra 16v XE for engine for the GTE. Bought an Escort RST 2.1 ZVH in mint condition and also an immaculate white Cav Turbo, the best condition ive ever seen any cavalier in! The lad i got them from took my Astra GSI in P/X so thats one car gone. Stripped and scrapped XE cally tday, the engine shall be in the GTE shortly.

Im trying to sell the RST and possibly the Cav Turbo? It really is a see to be believed condition, Rare black cloth trim, standard wheels new tyres on Konis, only mods are blue samcos, suspension, baileys d/v, KnN panel filter and a Pace charge cooler setup, any offers?

Thats all for now!

Ill get some asap! forgot to mention its just had a brand new re-condition Coscast cylinderhead, XE inlet cam all new valves, gen vaux VXR head gasket, no rust what so ever, electric ariel still works, switchable 4x4, saves messing with fuses/relays

VERY VERY nice Cav Turbo, getting rarer and rarer nowadays

I think you wrote that down wrong. You meant to say you bought the Cav turbo for the engine for the mk2 GTE :thumb:.

There's a black C20LET mk2 GTE around these parts, it looks, sounds and goes like the business.

If you saw the service history and reciepts you'd agree it HAS been looked after, only done 21k since 1999! MOT'd every year.

This defo isnt getting stripping, i do have another C20LET but imho they're not very gd engines, the GTE will be having a worked 16v instead

Cheers
