was that sarcasm? seriously, you'll pay £350 + now, and theones under that are usually dogs. have you thought about the x20xev or the 20seh? both give good power, and excellent torque, more than an xe infact. btw, sorry for the posts above, we needed a giggle at 3am this morning!

Well i m open to suggestions really! I bought a cheap nova which needs some work. I ve always had a soft spot for the little buggers. I had a ep3 Civic Type R before but had to sell it, would like a 16V nova as it d be just as much of a hoot i reckon!

i'd have a browse through the projects section, there have been a few ecotec nova's and alot of 8v ones. search for steve's build thread. yeah, the xe is good, but most now need a £200 rebuild, aswell as buying the engine. theres gonna be some serious 2.0 8v turbo powered cars this year, as its a cheap easy to build option. i'd start with a std 2.0 8v, and go from there.

Cheers mate, i ll do just that, any advice is welcome. You wouldnt happen to know anywhere were i can get front wings and rear arches for a mk2, i came across anycarpart.com who have quite a few bits and pieces, but i m guessing maybe you would know somewhere better or have sources where i can get good quality parts, any help is much appreciated!
