How much are corsa B's worth ??

Hello all, at work today we got in a 1993 "K" reg corsa 1.2, it has been stolen and recovered with just damage to the steering lock/ignition barrel, this may not sound very interesting but the car is absolutley MINT, it's got 16k !!! on it will full history to the brim !! it's like an absolute time warp, not a single dent, scratch or tiny bit of rust whatsoever !! i'm thinking of having it myself for a daily driver, as it happens we have a vectra B with an X18XE1 in, am i right in thinking that this is a bolt in conversion ? thanks.

generally with tax and test youre looking at £200-£500 depending on condition/mods etc

k is the 1st of the corsas my mate bought his 1.2 for 200 about 3 years ago it had 10 Months mot and tax

TBH it wouldn't be worth much at all, as you say its just a cheap runabout. Your best bet would be to keep it yourself; however if you do drop the X18 in, I can see that adding some good value to the right buyer.


[edit] Or, put it on CorsaSport for sale. If it doesn't sell, put a can of L'Oreal hair spray and some hair straighteners in the boot and watch the offers fly in :D

I think corsas seem to be worth a fair bit at the minute, i went to look at a few when i was looking for run about and the ones advertised for £500 were imo no way worth that! So if you are comparing it to those, a mint exmaple must be worth alot more. Probably around the grand mark with a good tax and test?

Well, i paid £200 for a Cat C P reg Corsa 1.2 8v SPi. SO there ya go. TBH it was only worth £400 pre accident condition though (pre accident it was mint though with 81k)

that corsa there is gleaming couldn't really see any rust anywhere on it to be honest.. i thought it was a wind up when he told me like but he said to me i can have the car how it is now for 200 quid its a 1.2i premier or something like that getting insurance quotes of a grand for it soo not looking to bad what do use all think should i buy it or not??

Well i've been away from work for a few days so i havnt done anything about it at the moment, i know usually that corsa's are worth f**k all but this is the tidiest one i have ever ever seen ! 16 thousand miles !!! it's got all the service history with it from new, even the original bill of sale, the p/x for it was a B reg 1.2 nova that she got just under 2k for ! the car is far far to good to go to waste so i'm unsure what to do with it, as much as i'd like it i'm going travelling later on this year so i shouldnt really buy it, we also have a vectra with the x18xe1 in so it kind of seems like a perfect combo ? i may buy it just to sell being such a perfect shell, it would make a perfect rally car but it's got a sunroof :( could change the roof skin but i dont want to got too involved with anything like this at the moment.
