recaro seats out of an astra gte mk2 or similar

they are vaux

to go in a nova (any seat for that matter) u need to butcher the 2 seats together.

Are they fuck astra seats.

They are Escort RS turbo recaros.

how hard do you reckon it would be to.............

a) fit the seats
b) get hold of some vauxhall 'zipper' trim to retrim the centres
c) get hold of some of those seats

cheers

To fit the seats all you need to do is remove the subframe from the RS seats and your nova ones, then it's a case of bolting the nova subframe to the RS seat.

As for getting some RS seats, try a RS breakers because it will be hard to find some at your local scrappy.

or the RS owner club http://www.rsoc.co.uk or http://www.rsownersclub.co.uk can't remember which url it is.

There the best seats ever made, well comfy. Even my mates X reg ( i think :? ) Escort rs1600i has the same kinda style seat, very comfy :)

Quick question to the person saying weld the subframe on. Have you got these seats in your car? I'm guessing not, because if you did you'd know that you don't need to weld the subframe on, you can actually bolt the nova one on the seat with the aid of 2 little metal brackets. I have these in my car, and thats the way it's done. Only problem I have with them is that the seats seem a bit high for me and if I'm giving it some on a bumpy road I bang my head on the sunroof! lol
Agree with everyone else though, they are far and away the most comfy seats I've ever had, mine are half leather ones too

to cut a long story short, i never travel with my electric window fully fully down.

IT teacher at scool (long story) but basically, this car in front of him rolled after a car hit it from a side road, he dragged mom and daughter out, bruised shaken etc etc, dad was decaptated as his head / arm was out window when it rolled - gravity through him outwards :o
