X20XEV Top Hat on a C20XE

I've seen people mod these to suit the Red Top engine, has anyone got any details and are they benificial?

I think you need a specially made adapter flange to enable the X20XEV hose to be fitted.

Its only the xev rubber air hose you use....
You need a adaptor plate as Novasport said.........

Aaaaah, that looks simple enough, is there any benifit aside from removing the SFi Box? Any notable gains?

Space
Bit more induction noise

Losses:
Low down torque/mid range

not to sure mate, i didnt use it, it came on a car i brought but i used a power cap instead lol it just lays on the work bench lol
