I'm currently with Admiral and I'd reccomend them. I'd scheduled the policy to start on the 12th of september 2008 to cover the nova, but on around the 2nd of that month I decided to get rid of the nova due to tin worm and get a mondeo instead. They gave me no hassle getting the car swapped over, and they even made me an emergency policy with the certificate shipped out RMSD so that I could get the car taxed. A few months later I had to change the payment date to a different time of the month and again they were most helpful.

I'm with elephant for my Volvo. No probs at all. Although it's a standard car and I haven't had to get in touch since the policy was taken out 10 months ago.

You're aware that elephant = admiral = bell = diamond = shielas wheels = others which I can't think of right now?
They will contact you after you do a quote (a very nice lady from Bell/Admiral/Elephant contacted me after I did a quote - undercut my cheapest by £1)
Admiral are good, I've been with them a couple times and would have gone again this year as they were cheaper than Sky with a lower excess, but Sky gave me like for like on mods, plus they support the club.
got a quote from admiral, elephant beat them and even used the admiral quote no. to get all the details and ensure policy was like for like

The g/f has her insurance with Elephant. Seem easy to deal with and were more than happy to either price match or better the quotes she had previously got.
I have to admit they have been good to me, the vehicles i have insured at the mo are...
54 plate vectra elite cdti
07 plate focus titanium
89 1.2 nova
I pay just under £600 for all three policies, all based on me and wife, fully comp protected blah blah.
Obviously our site sponsor will be getting my trade if he can quote close to what the others do when the time comes
i took a policy out with admiral yesterday , the online quote was the cheapest by far for my astra considering my new years eve accident ,
when i rang them up though to take it out they install a quite big online discount and because i wanted to pay monthly i lost this , so it went up nearly 170 , still was a bit cheaper then everywhere else though but a bit annoying when i would have got it alot cheaper to pay all in one

How come you didn't do it online? They've always honoured online quotes to me over the phone...
Pay monthly premiums are always more expensive than all-in-one shots as they add in a credit charge as well, sure its not just that making it more expensive?
^^ you cant pay monthly online , i know the are normally more expensive as they ad an 8% credit charge , but to lose the online bonus when you cant do monthly payment online is a bot wrong lol
yeah i lost 10% discount if i pay monthly, although i did tell the guy i had to ring some more places, hes ringing me back today so im gonna try and get breakdown cover thrown in aswell
You're aware that elephant = admiral = bell =
explains why they were all within 50quid of each other then
