Okies Before lee moans about the french cars, they are well powered light and handle well from the factory.

Stepping away from the french scene pmsl suggest some 2.0l cars which are light, quick and handle well. From FACTORY i cant be arsed building anything.

No arguments please homo's Just a car and a little bit why its so good, I have 1500 - 2000Ish unless

Fire away Oh and i drive mine hard ;) so it has to be able to take a battering pmsl.

Its not a 2.0 but how about something like this (http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/www/cars/BMW+3+SERIES/Ne-2-4-5-6-7-8-27-44-49-53-61-64-67-103-133-146-236,N-9-13-112-240-4294967201-4294967202/advert.action?R=200809304508040&distance=73&postcode=LL13+8BE&channel=CARS&make=BMW&model=3+SERIES&min_pr=1000&max_pr=2000&max_mileage=&vehicleYearOfManufacture=1997&vehicleRegLetter=P)? I was looking for 2L E30's but that looks like a nice car for the cash.

That really is to cheap to be true TBH. They go for ITRO £8k!!!

EDIT: PMSL its the ****ty 8v version lol utter waste of time lol

BUT, a pair of Intergrale Doors ARE rarer then used Nova ones lol parts are mega uber super duper expensive too. And there delicate as funk belive it or not :thumb:

Mine took the abuse - fair play it was the baby 1.6 16v turbo (hf). One of the wheels fell off after my tyres were changed whislt I was going round a rounderbout and I just popped it back on and it still drove perfectly. I even drove it around for a couple of months after a motorbike plowed into the side of it at 40+mph. The chassis was bent but its still took the abuse.

Mike
19-01-09, 06:33 PM
The baby ones mechanically will take whatever you throw at them, where as the big block 8v & HF's won't.

Seat Leon Cupra's and Cupra R's can be picked up for £2.5 - £4k. Like a Golf GTI mk4, but more power, better handling and better looks. The 'R was tested on Seat's track in Spain for months on end, and when used in the Cupra Cup, that followed the touring cars, they were suprisingly standard! No coilovers, just stripped and caged, few tweeks here and there - immpressive stuff.

Have I sold you one yet? (If you hadn't guessed, I just purchased one)

The ibiza cupra is a fair shout to...

What you mean a F**king Totally Overrated lol

Theres loads of them round here and tbh a two litre doesnt warrant being a V6 imo, plus the fact that my mates almera 1.6SRi dusts them all day long makes them look even pooer haha!

Very true, there are good cars though.

A LET converted mk3 GSi would be a perfect all rounder imo, could be driven daily, but still plenty of poke if you want to 1/4mile & track it.....

Rexy
20-01-09, 06:51 PM
Clios going up for sale as spares or repairs shortly this week hopefully. If i can sell the engine loom and ecu i will break it if not i'll try and sell it as a whole.

They'l be autos.. the Man's are pretty damn fast:thumb:

Jack
21-01-09, 04:42 PM
I wouldn't be at all surprised if the auto was just as fast, if not faster than the manual (reason being the ECU knows exactly when to change gear) - auto Supras are spec'd as faster than manual ones.

They're still not as fast ast they should be though, 7.5 0-60 is pretty lame and thats the 197bhp MIVEC jobbies.
