Welcome to the site Nick, set up a Photobucket account as previously mentioned, then you can post the pictures up direct.

Looks gorgeous, loving the chrome window surrounds and the 2-tone boot lid.

Looking forward to some more pics.

nice colour man, its biege right ? prety rare now.
early 6 dial clocks are sweet.
dont think the wheels suite it myself, there too smooth for the mk.1's boxy looks.
apart from that, looks like youve got yourself a mint example.

:thumb: to novabikecarbed for pics

Cheers novabikecarbed for doing that, i do have a bucket account here http://s84.photobucket.com/albums/k5/Theweez_2006/

I was just trying to be slack n and host then from facebook but dint happen:mad:

Thanks for all the comments guys it really is clean but as always a couple rust bit at the bottem of rear arches but as you'll see in my photobucket i not shy wid the welder

The front valance has also been hand painted at some point, old geezer style

One owner from new on the docs too which is bonus

Vacuam advance and springs in distribitor were shagged so a friend gave me one he had about, sorted it then timed it up. It actually revs now!!

256mm front brakes, single wiper, clear front inducators and k&n are the next jobs as

A friend has the filter and wiper left from his old one he's give me along with a compleate fast road cam kit

Ill fit the cam and do valve seals at the same time as it a little smokey at start and i doubt thats due to the miles i.e rings

He's also give me a 1.3 sr head so i may look at changing the lot

Rear springs are some random ones off a nova a friend broke ill see if there any info on them

Got the brakes ready too go as serviced um for my kadett but have since found bigger ones for that

Will i need too change front hose's to get um on or will originals fit for now?

Going to fit braids all round when i do rear disc's Gotta scrap the car thats sat on um first thou

On the look out for a cream calibra leather interior, f15 cr box, clear iducators for now

C16xe on throttle body's is the future:thumb:

The nova wasn't planned just thought it was too good to let some punk trash itlol

Well the 1.2 carbed engine dint last too long, had a nice 200 mile round trip drive then the next day pop! major headgasket failiare n smoke every when.

Time to put plans in to place for engine swap abit sooner than hoped!

Had a x16xel from an astra which i had done a x20xe conversion on, had every thing needed including a f15 gearbox, loom, ecu and key chip.

Out with the old

Still currently on the majority of the 1.2 exhaust system so i plan too change that along with fitting a fuel swirl pot or a mpi fuel tank.

I also have another engine to rebuild a tigra x16xe and swap with the current one as it smokes a fair bit at the mo and has quite a knock on the bottom end!

you could sand the plastic alloy centre caps down a bit and bond a bit polished metal to them.

Not a bad idea that cheers, im currently half way through spraying the centres body coloured. Ide like to get some opel ones and have them crome painted like the carisma renalt five
