16v Redtop head XE/LET Recon ready to fit with head fix

This is a spare head i rebuilt to put on my let i was building, its a GM head and was not pourus but would of been silly not to do the fix while it was off so tubed the offending oil gallery i have pic's all the way through building it to prove too, it is very good condition and came off my old 50,000 cav.

Took them to the machine shop and had it very lightly refaced just to clean it up, as little as poss was taken off. replaced all the guides as there was slight wear on 6 of the exhasts. then picked it up and steam cleaned the head relaped and cleaned all the valves again pic's to show this work, and new stem seals. the head was then fully blown out with the airline till bone dry. i then built all back up with brand new lifters also using molly grease so still all nice and lubricated. the lifter bores were perfect no scoring,

It is fitted with let exhaust cam an xe inlet cam all ready to fit and away you go comes with standard headgasket too, again this is a dizzy type.

Cost me more than £250 to do but will take that for it.

Just remembered it has double valve springs too. this is a very clean head!
